TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
PROBLEM PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
Chair will not lower
Chair will not raise
Chair "stutters" during ascent
Chair seat wobbles
Chair back will not recline
when release bar activated

reclined or upright position

Too much drag on swivel
1) Not holding foot pedal down past
the stop
1) Foot pedal is being held down past
the stop when pumped

1) Seat mount screws loose
2) Piston rod bolt too loose
1) Lock not releasing due to gas
spring out of adjustment
1) Lock not releasing due to gas

1) Mounting screw loose
1) Swivel lock partially engaged
1) Pump the foot pedal once and hold
down past stop - release when
desired height is reached
1) Pump the foot pedal lightly until the
desired height is reached
1) Contact dealer or factory for
information on addition of uid
1) Tighten screws
2) Remove seat cushion and tighten
bolt
1) Re-adjust gas spring (see
instruction 3.7)
1) Re-adjust gas spring (see

1) Tighten mounting screw
1) Push down on the foot pedal to
release swivel lock
