Installation, start up and operating manual – version 5.3 Gen.10
Radio control BRICK and PAIL
The TWIN SYSTEM is comprised of two transmitter units (BRICK or
PAIL) and one receiver unit connected to the lifting machine.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CORRECT AND SAFE
USE OF THE TWIN SYSTEM
Switch on the lifting machine that supplies power to the receiver unit
(RxDIN).
Switch on one of the two transmitters supplied (primary or auxiliary) and
press START for approximately 10 seconds.
Once the receiver unit has recognised the transmitter unit the machine
will emit:
• ONE acoustic signal (primary transmitter)
• THREE acoustic signals (auxiliary transmitter recognised by the
identification label).
From this moment on unless the power supply is turned off at the
receiver unit (RxDIN) or until the RELEASE command is activated, the
operating machine can be controlled only by this transmitter unit.
The other transmitter unit can NEVER resume control of the machine.
The TWIN SYSTEM conforms to the Standard
EN 60204-32 (Safety of Machinery)
The TWIN SYSTEM can not be controlled by
two transmitters at the same time!
ATTENTION !
It is possible that the power supply is cut to the operating machine
without being realised by the operator.
In this case there is the possibility that a second operator in possession
of one of the transmitter units could take control of the operating
machine by pressing the START button.
The operators MUST always be trained to recognise the different acoustic
signals emitted by the operating machine regarding which transmitter
unit is in control.
