I.1 DESCRIPTION OF THE MACHINE
UTNC-EV is a Box-t ype air ha ndling t ermin al unit , t o b e inst alled i n false
ceilings, with air flow and retur n directly i nto the room.
I.1.1 DECLARED CONDI TIONS OF USE
UTNC-EV is a fa n coil int en ded f or the treat ment of air (summer a nd
wint er air-conditi oning ) insid e buildings us ed f or d omestic or si milar
purpos es. T he unit is not d esigned for ins tallatio n in rooms us ed for
laun dry purposes (IEC EN 60335- 2-40 Sta ndard).
The units comply with the following Directives:
- Machiner y Directi ve 20 06/ 42/ EC (MD);
- Lo w Voltag e Directi ve 20 06/95 /EC (LVD);
- Electromagnetic Compatibility Directi ve 2004/108/EC (EMC);

The mach ine is designed for indoor installation
only, for use in domestic or similar environments.

Do not introduce objects through the air intake or

IMPORTANT !
The unit will function corre ctl y onl y if the
instructions for use ar e scrupulously followed, if
the spec ified cle aran ces ar e comp lied with during
installation and if the functioning restrictions
indicated in t his m anual are strictl y adh ered to.

and reduction in performance.
I.1.2 MACHINE IDENTIFICATION
The units have a s erial n umber plate af fixed to the insid e, which is
visible by re movi ng the air filter.
I.1.3 STRUCTURAL FEA TURES
• The self-s upporting struct ure is made of gal va nised sh eet s te el
complete wit h a de vice t hat raises the conde nsa te fr om the tra y to t he
drain level tray, a buffer ceiling with manually adjustable flow fins, return
grid and rege nerable filt er.
• Finned coil h eat e xc hang er.
• 3-spee d f an UTNC-EV.
• Brushless fan UTNC-I.

I.1.4 FUNCTIONING LIMITS

I.1.5 INFORMATION REGARDING IMPROPER USE

The mach ine has been designed and constructed
solely and exclusively to function as an air handling
terminal unit; an y other use is strictly PROHIBITED.
Inst alling t he ma chine in an explos iv e env ironment
is prohibited.

IMPORTANT !
In the case of a water supply with a particularly high
content of hard water sa lts, it is adv isabl e to fit a
water softener.
KV2 - KV3 ( supplied sepa ratel y) – 2/3- way elec troval ve for 2-pipe
systems complete with an insul ation covering (the accessory does not
come with the auxiliar y condensate drain tray).
