If translucent paper cannot be stacked well on the copy tray, change the paper
direction so that the paper grain is oriented with the paper path.

To avoid problems caused by curly copies, try turning over the paper stack in the
250-sheet, 500-sheet, or large capacity tray. If there is no improvement, change
to copy paper with less curl.

Load paper with the copy side
down
in the 250 sheet and 500-sheet trays, and
with the copy side
up
in the large capacity tray. If copies are curled, try turning
the copy paper over in the tray. If there is no improvement, change to copy paper
with less curl.

Leading and side edges of the original image are not copied, as shown in the
illustration.
