Inserting Memory Cards
Pictures can be stored in the camera’s 88 MB internal
memory, or optional SD and SDHC memory cards can
be used to store additional pictures. Internal memory is
used for recording and playback if no card is inserted; if a
card is inserted, the card will be used instead.
Before inserting or removing a memory card, be sure the
camera is off. To insert a memory card:

Open the battery/card cover.
Unlatch (q) and open (w)
the cover.

Insert the card.
Holding the memory card in
the orientation shown, slide it
in until it clicks into place.

Close the battery/card cover.
Close (q) and latch (w) the
cover.

Removing Memory Cards
Unlatch and open the battery/card cover and press the
memory card in to eject it. The card can then be removed
by hand.
