Taking a Photograph

Focus.
Frame your subject in the center of the picture dis-
play and press the shutter-release button halfway to
set focus and exposure.
If the camera is unable to focus, the
center focus frame blinks red
and the autofocus/flash lamp
blinks green.
If the camera is able to focus, the
focus frames (up to nine) that
contain objects that are in fo-
cus are shown in green.

Take the picture.
Gently press the shutter-release button the rest of
the way down to take the picture. The photograph
you have just taken will be displayed in the picture
display as it is recorded to the memory card or inter-
nal memory.
