Take out the empty cartridges.
While taking out the cartridges, be sure to hold the machine
firmly so that it does not move.
Check the cartridges' orientation, and then push each
cartridge in fully.
Install in the following order from the left: black, cyan, ma-
genta, and yellow.
Close the right front cover.
• Make sure that the ink cartridgehas been fully pushed in
before closing the right front cover.
• The machine startsfeeding ink intoits print heads. Leave
the machine idle until the message "Ready" appears.
If an error occurs in the printer, resolve it, and then replace the ink
•
cartridge.
You might hear a clicking sound while the print heads are being
•
filled. This is not a malfunction.
