Using PostScript 3
Use the PostScript 3 driver to print files.
You can use the following functions if [Printer Features] is selected in the [Print]
dialog:
❖ Media Type
Use this function to select the paper type.
In the [Feature Sets] list, select [Media Type], and then, in the [Media Type] list,
select the paper type you want to use for printing.
❖ Dithering
Use this function to specify the rendering mode.
In the [Feature Sets] list, select [Dithering], and then, in the [Dithering] list, select
the rendering mode.
You can select Automatic, Photographic, or Text.
❖ Print Quality
Use this function to select the print quality.
In the [Feature Sets] list, select [Imaging], and then, in the [Print Quality] list,
select the print quality.
You can select 600 x 600 dpi or 1200 x 600 dpi.
❖ Toner Saving
Use this function to reduce the amount of toner used when printing.
To reduce toner consumption, in the [Feature Sets] list, select [Toner]. Then set
[Toner Saving] to [On].
❖ Print Blank Pages
Use this function to print blank pages.
To print blank pages, in the [Feature Sets] list, select [Toner]. Then set [Print
Blank Pages] to [On].
❖ Watermark Type
Use this function to select the watermark style.
In the [Feature Sets] list, select [Watermark Text], and then select the watermark
type in the list.
You can select Outlined, Solid, or Transparent Text.
