KBP Series Manual 43
Thermal by-pass valve is installed between hot
and cold line on furthest xture (ie. end of
domesc water supply).
The valve helps regulate ow from the hot water
line to the cold water line allowing for quicker
delivery of hot water.
No more than 1 thermal by-pass valve should be
installed per water heater.
Refer to thermal by-pass valve instrucons for
further informaon.
(Recirculaon using cross over mode may result in
combuson icon switching ON and OFF several mes,
this is normal.)

Cross over mode requires a thermal by-pass valve
(included); Refer to Installaon of Plumbing secon
(Cross Over Mode Plumbing Diagram)
* The pump will cycle on at these calculated intervals which are based on the temperature seng, insulaon,
and esmated heat loss in the system. The values for your installaon may vary.

