Color interpretation
• Minimum and maximum
• Color model: Choose a color palette for the surface graph.
• Auto min. / Auto max.: If this box is checked, the system automatically
adapts the color palette to the range of data. Deactivate the automatic
input and insert the appropriate limits manually to the requirements of
different species.
• Typical velocity interval: This option will adapt the graph colors according to
the typical impulse velocities for the species selected. RINNTECH is currently
developing a velocity catalogue for certain species. Please note that velocity
tables derived from other measurement devices cannot be applied to
ARBOTOM
®

• Surface resolution: Choose the appropriate graph resolution. The system will
select an optimal resolution automatically. Beware of artifacts due to an
overstressed resolution. If the resolution should be higher, we recommend
using more sensors
• Use faster mean value: Selects the higher mean value of the bi-directional
measurements. If this box is checked, the higher mean only will be displayed,
the lower will be rejected.
Theoretical residual intact wall t, radius r
• Show residual: Displays a theoretical residual circumference within the cross-
section. This residual line has no effect on the measurement, but serves as an
orientation for the user while evaluating the tomogram.
• Ratio r/t: Defines the theoretical residual wall thickness in percent.
• Line color: Defines the line color.
• Line width: Defines the line thickness.
