Useapairofplierstobendthetabsofthepedalclampforabetterfit.
Ifthepedalclampstilldoesn’tfit,contactROADMASTER.
Theairreservoirisfull.Releasetheairbypressingtheairreliefbutton
(Figure5).
Usean optionalair cylinder shaftextension toextendthe reachofthe
aircylindershaft.(Refertothe“OptionalEquipment”section.)
Brake pedals that are somewhat horizontal cause the pedal clamp to
tilt,andtointerferewiththeAddaBRAKEhousingwhenitretracts.Usean
optionalaircylindershaftextensiontogainadditionalclearance.(Referto
the“OptionalEquipment”section.)
Readjust the seat and/or the adjustable seat pad. Refer to Step B in
“Day-to-dayoperation”—“Adjustthefeetandtheseatpad.”
Afteradjustingtheseat,pressthe“Test”button(Figure12)down,then
release it, to cycle the pedal clamp up and down threetimes.Watch the
seatastheaircylindershaftextendsandretracts—ifitstillmoves,adjust
theseatasecondtime,andrepeatthetestcycle.
• If there is a rubberized floor mat under AddaBRAKE, remove it during
towing.
• Checkthepositionoftheadjustableseatpad.Theseatpadservesas
ananchorpoint,tokeepAddaBRAKEdownasitpressesthebrakepedal.
Adjusttheseatpadupordown,ifnecessary.
Brake pressure setting
Readjust the braking pressure to a lower setting. Refer to Step E in
“Day-to-dayoperation”—“Setthebrakepressure.”
