What to do if robatherm AR3 does not fill with water?
    • K
      Kyle DavisJul 31, 2025
If your robatherm Boiler isn't filling with water, several factors could be at play. First, ensure there is an electrical supply and the unit is properly plugged in. Then, verify that the water supply is active. A blocked inlet strainer could also be the cause; inspect it and clean or replace if necessary. Other potential issues include an electronic controller failure (test it), a solenoid valve failure (check its resistance and replace if broken), or a blocked filter (if your unit has one, check and replace it, referring to section 5E for resetting).

Why robatherm AR3 Boiler fills water to low level and does not heat?

If your robatherm Boiler fills water to a low level but doesn't heat, the thermal cut-out may have tripped and needs resetting. Another possibility is a heating element failure; if properly wired, check its resistance and replace it if broken. An electronic controller failure could also be the cause, so test it. Finally, a thermistor failure could be the reason; consider replacing the thermistor.
