DAB Radio
1. Make sure that the aerial is fully extended and the unit is in a location that
can receive a strong FM/DAB signal.
2. Press the MODE button
3. Turn the Tuning dial and push to choose DAB. The first use will cause the
system to scan for available radio stations.
4. Once the scan is complete, turn the Tuning dial to select a station and
press to choose it.
The display can show either, Program Text, Signal Strength’ or ‘Date/Day’.
Press the MENU button and turn the tuning dial to select Info to access these
options.
If the signal is poor / reception is bad, you can press the MENU button, turn the
tuning dial and press Info and then select Signal Strength. This will display the
current signal strength to check that it is high enough. This display mode is
useful to help you adjust the antenna or fine-tune the system’s position.
If the radio is moved to a new region, a scan may be needed to pick up the
available stations. You may need to use the prune option in the menu to remove
stations that are no longer available. Access the Scan and Prune options in the
MENU.
