INSTALLATION
Aswithanyheangand/oraircondioningproject,carefulinstallaonisthe
keytoasuccessfuloutcome.Timetakenduringthisinstallaonprocesswillbe
rewardedwithasasedcustomerandfewercall-backs.
ThestepsrequiredtoinstalltheSMART2000thermostatare:
1. Read and understand this manual and the User Manual.
2. Mount the back plate in a suitable location.
3. SettheeightDIPswitchestomatchtheneedoftheproject/user.
4. Connect wires to terminal blocks.
5. Wiretheoptionalremotetemperaturesensor(s)orswitchesifrequired.
6. Power up the heating and/or air conditioning system.
7. Settheinstallersoftwareoptions(ifrequired).
8. Program and set up the thermostat. (The User Manual will assist with this).
9. Testtheheating,coolingandotherfunctions–Commissioning.
