When installing the piston
on
the connecting
rod, place
‘‘4
”
mark
of
the piston crown
on
the
“MAG”
side
of
the connecting rod.
(See
Fig.
5-30.)
Apply oil to the small end
of
the connecting
rod,
piston and piston pin before installation.
Be
sure
to
use clips on the both end
of
the
piston pin
to
secure the pin
in
position.
