Unlike co󰀨ee dose programming, hot water
doses must be programmed for each unit by
acting on the relevant unit pushbutton panel.
Proceed as follows:
■ Hold the key
(1 - g._5.1) until its LED
starts ashing.
■ Release the key and press the one to be
programmed (
6 - g._5.2), starting
water dispensing.
■ When the desired quantity of water is
reached, press the same key
again to
stop dispensing.
■ Once the programming operations are
complete, switch the machine o󰀨 and on
again after 5 seconds.
Note: The volume of hot water
dispensed is timed and, there-
fore, also depends on the pres-
sure in the boiler. There may
 󰀨   
actually dispensed.

2. One of the buttons (1-5 g_6.2) can now
be pressed to let the water ow through the
lter holder.
3. It is important to leave the portalter in-
stalled in the group head when not in use.
The portalter must remain heated for a
successful brew process. It will also prevent
the head seal inside the group head from
drying out prematurely.

6 - MACHINE OPERATION
1. Install the portalter by inserting it into the
group head and rotate the portalter handle
from left to right. The portalter is inserted
properly once it is rmly inside the group
head and the portalter handle is sitting at
90 degrees from the face of the machine
(g._6.1)
