I/O Memory Mapping        Chapter 3
Channel Configuration Words
The bits are defined as follows:
• E = Channel Enable: (0 = Disabled, 1 = output Enabled, process changes)
• Reserved = Set to zero
• SIU = System interrupt low clamp, under-range alarms: (0 = Disabled,
1 = Enabled)
• SIO = System interrupt high clamp, over-range alarms: (0 = Disabled,
1 = Enabled)
• LA = Latch low/high clamp, under/over-range alarms: (0 = Disabled,
1=Enabled)
• ER = Enable ramping: (0 = Disabled, 1 = Enabled. Ramp rate limited by
fault states.)
• FM = Fault mode: (0 = Hold Last State, 1 = User Defined Value)
• PM = Program mode: (0 = Hold Last State, 1 = User Defined Value)
• HI = Hold for initialization: (0 = Disabled, 1 = Enabled)
• PFE = Program/idle to fault enable: (0 = Disabled, 1 Enabled)
The first two words of each eight word group in the configuration file allow you
to change the parameters of each channel independently. For example, words 8
and 9 correspond to channel 1 while words 16 and 17 correspond to channel 3.
