a. Double click on Controller Tags at the top of the Controller
Organizer
b. Verify that a fault occurred within the unit by looking at the
Tr ipPr e s e nt tag within AS_EIP_280:I. Expand AS_EIP_280:I by
clicking on the plus sign next to AS_EIP_280:I. The Tr i pPr es ent bit
should be a 1.
c. To see which fault occurred, expand AS_EIP_280:I and scroll down
and expand AS_EIP_280:I.Int01DeviceOut to see the individual bits
of this word. AS_EIP_280:I.Int01DeviceOut points to parameter 4
which is Tr ip St a tu s . These 16 bits correlate to the Tr ip S ta t us bit
description in the Bulletin 280E Trip Status
section on page 71.
d. Compare the bits of AS_EIP_280:I.Int01DeviceOut to the Trip Status
definition in the Bulletin 280E Trip Status
section on page 71. Verify
the reported fault matches the fault that was created.
