Dust Covers on the Underside of the Top
Case
1. Cut 10-millimeter lengths of double-sided adhesive tape (#5100011185),
affix them to the Top Case, and peel off the backing paper.

2. Carefully orient the Dust Cover correctly, and attach it so that the three
hole locations match up.

Double-sided Tape on the Underside of the
Panel Board
Affix double-sided adhesive tape (#40122556) so that it does not extend
beyond the rectangular silkscreening on the underside of the Panel Board.
* Leave the backing paper attached.

Installing Components Around the LCD
Screen
1. Fasten the Shield Sheet (#5100009465) to the Top Case using screws
(#40011312).
2. Line up the Display Cushion (#5100009464) with the inner edges of the
Shield Sheet and attach so that no gaps are formed.

3. Fasten the LCD screen using screws (#40011312).
* Bend the flat cable loosely.

4. Affix acetate tape (#5100002685) in a cross-shaped configuration.
5. Insert the flat cable for the LCD screen into the connector, as far as it will
go.
