11. Audio In/Out Test
[11/15 AUDIO IN/OUT]
Exercise care with respect to the volume level.

1. Using a stereo cable, connect the external audio device to the MIX IN jack.
2. Play back audio on the external audio device and verify that the played
sound is heard correctly on both left and right.
3. Turn the MASTER VOLUME knob on the top panel and verify that the
volume level changes correctly.
4. Detach the cable from the MIX IN jack.
5. Press [Button 3] to advance to the next item.
12. Sound Test [12/15 SOUND]
Exercise care with respect to the volume level.

1. Verify that an audio sine wave containing no noise is output from the
OUTPUT L/MONO and R jacks. (The pitch of the audio from R is higher.)
2. Press [Button 2].

3. Verify that an audio sine wave containing no noise is output from the
PHONES jack. (The pitch of the audio from R is higher.)
4. Press [Button 2].

5. Verify that the volume level of the audio produced from the OUTPUT L/
MONO and R jacks and the PHONES jack is lowered.
6. Press [Button 2].

7. Verify that the audio produced from the OUTPUT L/MONO and R jacks
and the PHONES jack is silenced.
8. Press [Button 3] to advance to the next item.
13. Device Test [13/15 DEVICE]

This automatically tests the operation of various devices. The
determination results are displayed to the right of each on-screen item. If
all are OK, execution automatically advances to the next item.
