Yellow means that the USB memory does contain a
sound expansion file.
In the example above, the USB memory doesn’t con-
tain the file “W01.BID”.
5.
Press treble register [1]~[4] to select the
sound expansion file you want to load.
Treble registers [1]~[4] now light red or green.
NOTE
You can only select registers that light yellow.
6.
Now select the internal sound expansion
bank to which you want to load the selected
expansion file: press register [1] or [2].
Green means that the internal bank in question con-
tains no expansion sounds.
Red means that the bank in question already con-
tains expansion sounds. But you can overwrite them
if you like.
During the operation, all treble registers flash green.
When they go dark, the selected sound expansion file
has been imported.
NOTE
If all four treble registers flash red, the FR-18 diatonic has
noticed an error:
• Missing USB memory
• The sound expansion file is already available inside the
FR-18 diatonic
• The file is corrupt
NOTE
The load operation may take a few minutes.
NOTE
The FR-18 diatonic does not allow you to load the same
sound expansion file for both banks.
