Parameters
All parameters except “MIDI OUT/IN” can be saved in the
Global area (common to all Sets).
NOTE
The small dot “•” means “factory setting”.
Master Tune
This parameter allows you to change the FR-18
diatonic’s overall tuning. The factory default, “440”,
represents the reference pitch used by all electronic
musical instruments. The settings you can select with
the registers are:
Musette Detune
This parameter allows you to choose the system used
for detuning the 8’ reeds of the selected register. The
settings you can select with the registers are:
Treble/Bass&Chord Balance
This parameter is used to set the balance between the
Treble and Bass sections. When you press register [1],
the treble section is inaudible, while pressing register
[4] means that the bass and chord section is no
longer audible. The settings you can select with the
registers are:

Orchestra/Organ Level
This parameter allows you to set the level of the
orchestral sounds. It can be useful to create the
desired “mix” (volume balance) with the treble accor-
dion sounds.
Orchestra Bass Level
This parameter allows you to set the level of the
orchestral bass section. It can be useful to create the
desired “mix” (volume balance) with the sound
assigned to the chord section (page 29).
Orchestra Chord Level
This parameter allows you to set the level of the
orchestral chord section. It can be useful to create
the desired “mix” (volume balance) with the sound
assigned to the bass section (page 29).
Drum Set
This parameter allows you to select the type of drum/
percussion instruments you wish to play simulta-
neously with the bass and chord section. See also
“Playing drum/percussion sounds” on p. 30.
