Objects shown in the VGA display
On a VS-2480 with system version 2.0, and with the VS-2480CD, an externally
connected VGA monitor can be used to perform various operations. This chapter
explains the controls that are displayed in each screen.

1. PROJECT

Display a pull-down menu for moving to the Project screens.
• NEW, RELOAD, NAME, PROTECT, SPLIT, EXPORT
Move to screens where various things can be done with projects.
• PROJECT LIST
View a list of projects saved on the current drive.
• STORE
Save the current project.
• SHUTDOWN/EJECT
Exit operations on the VS-2480.
2. TRACK

Display a pull-down menu for moving to the track edit screens.
• REGION COPY, MOVE, INSERT, CUT, ERASE, COMP/EXP., ARRANGE
Move to various region editing screens.
• TRACK IMPORT, EXCHANGE, NAME
Move to Track Import, Exchange, and Name screens.
• PHRASE COPY, MOVE, TRIM IN, TRIM OUT, DELETE, SPLIT, NEW,
NORMALIZE, DIVIDE, NAME
Move to various phrase editing screens.
• TAKE MANAGER
Move to the Take Manager screen.
3. EFFECT

• EFFECT VIEW
Display a list of the currently used effects.
• EFFECT 1 – EFFECT 8
Move to screens where you can edit each effect.
There are other screens that
can be operated from the
VGA display, but for
screens not discussed in
this manual, operation is
the same as with the
