4. Physical Description/Drawing
The SW 100 Sidewall Curtain System is assembled on the
sidewall of a building structure. The Sidewall comes with a
Head Unit that is preassembled in the Factory. The part
number of the Head Unit varies with the height of the
Right and Left Tracks. The Right Track and
the Left Track must be assembled in the field.
See Figure 2.
The Head Unit and Tracks attach to side of the
building using mounting holes pre-drilled in
the Head Unit and the Tracks. The Curtain
attaches to drive pipe. Hook & Loop holds the
curtain in place and seals the curtain. The
Loop is laminated to the Back Plate and the
Drive Pipe top bar.
The Floating loop is attached to the Left Track
and Right Track. The Curtain is raised and
lowered by a motorized drive. A top cover is
installed to each sidewall curtain system to
enclose the drive pipe.
5. Framing Examples
Make sure that the widths of the clear openings are standard widths and the Head Unit matches the height of
the Right and Left Track as given in Table 1, Page 3. The following Framing Example gives an example of
typical layouts for a sidewall system.
