6. Drive Configuration Examples
Shown below are some examples of drive configurations that are available by utilizing a single motor drive and
telescoping couplings. Example 1 shows three doors being driven from a single right mounted motor drive. A
maximum of three doors can be driven from a single motor. Example 2 uses a left mounted motor to drive all three
doors. In Example 3, the left door operates independently from the middle and right doors, which operate together
from a single drive.

The distance
between the
two holes in the
shafts must be
between 23
and 28 inches
for a standard
coupling.
! CAUTION !
If the Telescopic Shaft is too
short, DO NOT MODIFY THE
SHAFT.
This will cause unsafe
operation. Use the 0411-
10550 Shaft Extender.
