CHAPTER 3 - SAFETY KAPITEL 3 - SÄKERHET
1 During lifting or lowering operations, the lift must
be operated only from the operator area as shown in
the diagram (picture 7).
2 Standing or passing within the danger area when
the lift is working or the vehicle is raised is strictly
forbidden.
3 The operator must make sure the hazard area is
clear when lifting or lowering the lift
4 Never use the lift without protection or when
safety devices are off-line.
5 Always use the rubber pads when lifting a vehicle,
observing the proper points of support specified by
the vehicleÕs manufacturer.
6 Switch off the engine and engage the parking
brake after placing the vehicle on the car lift;
Furthermore, disengage the shift lever and move it
to the Òneutral position.
7 To prevent the vehicle from falling make sure it is
properly placed on the lift.
8 Getting in or on the vehicle and-or starting the
engine when the car lift is raised is strictly forbid-
den.
9 Never leave objects and-or obstructions under the
vehicle or scattered on it during the lowering phase.
10 Keep the area under/next to the lift clear and
remove possible oil spots to avoid the risk of slip-
ping.
11 Never use water-steam-varnish-solvent jets in the
lift area, and particularly, close to the control box.
GENERAL RULES
Read this chapter carefully it contains important information
concerning the safety of the operator. The operator and the
maintenance personnel are required to observe the accident pre-
vention legislation in force in the country of installation of the
lift.

Läs detta kapitel noga eftersom det innehåller viktig informa-
tion om säkerhet för användaren. Användaren och de personer
som ansvarar för underhåll är även skyldiga att ta hänsyn till
regler och förordningar för olycksförebyggande som gäller där
lyften är installerad.
1 Vid manövrering av lyften får användaren bara vistas
inom området som
indikeras i bild 7 ovan.
2 Det är förbjudet för obehöriga att passera igenom
eller vistas inom riskzonen som indikeras i bilden ovan
när lyften är i rörelse eller en bil är upphissad.
3 Användaren ansvarar för att riskområdet är fritt från
personer och hinder när lyften hissas eller sänks.
4 Använd
aldrig lyften när säkerhetsfunktionerna är ur
funktion eller bortkopplade.
5 Använd alltid gummiblock mellan lyftplattorna och
fordonet vid lyftning. Placera gummiblocken under
bilens lyftpunkter, enligt fordonstillverkarens rekom-
mendationer.
6 Slå av motorn och drag åt parkeringsbromsen efter
att bilen har parkerats över lyften. Sätt dessutom väx-
ellådan i neutralläge.
7 Det är
viktigt att bilen är rätt placerad på lyften, för
att undvika att den faller ner.
8 Det är inte tillåtet att klättra in i en bil eller starta
motorn på en bil som är upplyftad.
9 Lämna aldrig föremål och/eller hinder under lyften
eller bilen vid sänkning.
10 Håll golvet under
lyften och bilen rent och fritt från
oljefl äckar, för att minska risken för halkolyckor.
11 Använd aldrig högtrycksvatten, ånga, lack eller
lösningsmedel i närheten av lyftområdet, i synnerhet
inte nära manöverkonsolen
