Step 4 - Phase Control & Sense Module.
a. Adjustment of Precision Integrator, AR12 on Phase Control and Sense Module. Using a
Keithley Model 155 Meter without filter and using TP17 as ground, adjust R159 for 0V
±20µVDC at TP13.
b. Adjust Precision Rectifier AR10 on Phase Control and Sense Module using TP17 as ground
adjust R131 for a reading of 0V ±20µVDC at TP16.
c. Adjustment of Precision Integrator AR6, Phase Control and Sense Module. Using the
Keithley Model 155 Meter with filter adjust R74 for 0 ±20µVDC at TP7.
d. Adjustment of buffer amplifiers AR7 and AR8 on Phase Control and Sense Module. With
front panel setting of 1.0 PF Lag, adjust R96 for 0V ±20µVDC at TP8. With front panel
setting at 1.0 PF Lead, adjust R72 for 0V ±20µVDC at TP8. Return the series 800 setting to
1.0 PF Lag.
Step 5 - CVA Module, Adjustments.
a. Using the Keithley Model 155 Meter, with filter, using TP13 as ground, adjust R66 for 0V
±20µVDC at TP8.
b. Adjust R196 for 0V ±50µVDC at TP9.
c. Adjust precision Attenuator IC4, AR5. Reset Series 800 to Standby 000V, 00000VA. Place a
short between TP7 and TP11. Using the Keithley Model 155 meter, without filter, adjust
R102 for 0V ±20µVDC at TP7. Remove short. At TP7 adjust R98 for 0V ±20µVDC.
d. For the following adjustments use a Digital Multimeter. Using TP13 as ground, make the
following adjustments at TP7 on CVA Module. The Series 800 is placed in Standby for all
adjustments. New voltage settings are entered by first pressing Reset button.
