7) Take the kicker boom strop and tie a figure-of-eight knot in one end.
8) Thread the other end through the small metal eyelet on the top of the boom,
about 50 cm from the front end.
9) Thread the end through the metal loop on the top block of the kicking cascade.
10) Finally, thread the end back through the eyelet on the boom, in the opposite
direction to the other end, and tie a figure-of-eight knot in the end (see picture
4.14).
