What to do if my Rtelligent Control Unit motor does not work?
    • J
      Jared NashAug 2, 2025
If your Rtelligent Control Unit motor isn't working, first check if the power indicator is off and ensure the power supply circuit is providing normal power. If the motor rotor is locked, the pulse signal might be weak, so increase the signal current to 7-16mA. Also, the driver might be protected, in that case, solve the alarm and re-power the device. Another possible reason is an enable signal problem, try pulling up or disconnecting the enable signal. Finally, check whether the upper computer has pulse output, as the command pulse might be incorrect.

Why is the position or speed wrong on my Rtelligent T60-IO Control Unit?
    • A
      Amy BergerAug 7, 2025
If the position or speed is wrong, it might be due to signal interference. Ensure reliable grounding to eliminate interference. Another cause could be incorrect command input; check the upper computer instructions to ensure the output is correct. Also, verify the Pulse per revolution setting by checking the DIP switch status and correctly connecting the switches. If the encoder signal is abnormal, it might be necessary to replace the motor.

What to do if the Rtelligent T60-IO Control Unit motor is out of tolerance?
    • M
      Mark HowardAug 11, 2025
If the motor is out of tolerance, it could be due to several reasons. The acceleration and deceleration time might be too short, so reduce command acceleration or increase driver filtering parameters. Another possibility is that the motor torque is too low, in which case you should select a motor with high torque. Also, check the load weight and quality and adjust the mechanical structure if the load is too heavy. Finally, ensure that the current of power supply is sufficient.

What to do if the alarm indicator is on in Rtelligent T60-IO Control Unit?
    • A
      Amanda HamiltonAug 15, 2025
If the alarm indicator is on, check the motor connection to ensure it is correct. Also, verify the sequence of the encoder connection. Another potential issue is the voltage being too high or too low, so check the power supply.

Why is the steering of motor wrong in Rtelligent T60-IO?
    • B
      Brian MccarthyAug 19, 2025
If the steering of the motor is wrong, adjust the DIP SW5 because the rotary direction of the motor might be reversed. Check the motor connection, as the motor cable might be disconnected. If the motor only operates in one direction, there might be a pulse mode error or the DIR port could be damaged.

What causes the Rtelligent T60-IO driver terminal short circuit?
    • R
      Robert MartinAug 25, 2025
A short circuit between terminals can be caused by power polarity issues or an external short circuit. Check these aspects to resolve the problem.

What causes Rtelligent T60-IO Control Unit to be burned up?
    • H
      hortonwilliamAug 28, 2025
If the device burned up, check whether there is any solder ball due to excessive addition of solder on the wire connections, as the internal resistance between terminals might be too large.
