Recorder upgrade
The recorder automatically checks if new software is available for download. You can however
manually launch this operation and download updated software if available.
In RECEIVER SETTINGS, select RECEIVER
UPGRADE.
The recorder searches for new software.
For more information on this feature, refer to
Software Update, page 40.
Formatting the hard disk
In RECEIVER SETTINGS, select FACTORY
RESET.
Enter your parental code and press .
Select FORMAT HARD DISK DRIVE and
press .
A warning message appears.
To cancel the operation, press or .
To confirm the formatting, press .
Important
If you format the hard disk, you lose all the recordings saved in the library.
This operation does not reset the channels and settings you made.
