External Device Connection
Try the following solutions if you are having issues with connecting an external device (PC, game console, mobile
device, etc.) to the TV.

There is something wrong
with the TV
Try this!
I am getting a "Mode not
supported" message.
Change the external device's output resolution to one supported by the TV.
Video is good, but there is
no audio.
If connecting a PC using an HDMI cable, check the PC’s audio settings.
If your computer only has a DVI port (no HDMI port) and you used an DVI to HDMI cable to
connect it to the TV, you will also need to connect the two using a separate audio cable.
To listen to the sound from the computer, connect external speakers to the computer's audio
out port.
I would like to display the
screen of a computer or a
mobile device on the TV via
screen sharing (Screen
Mirroring).
If using a PC, familiarize yourself with Connection Guide’s PC Screen Sharing (Wireless)
section and try connecting again.

Make sure the computer and the TV are connected to the same network.
If using a mobile device, familiarize yourself with Connection Guide’s Mobile Device
Screen Sharing (Smart View)" section and try connecting again.

If the PC or the mobile device is unable to connect to the TV due to nearby wireless
interference, change the wireless router’s band setting and try connecting again.
I connected an external
device, but the screen is
blank.

Check the cable connection and ensure that the external device is powered on. Navigate to
Sources and select a different source.

If using a set top box or a cable box, check the status of the network the external device is
connected to and the status of the broadcast signal.
