The TV will play a melody through its speakers to test for audio issues. If the test does not identify any issue with the

How do I connect audio
equipment?
Depending on the audio device, the connection method may be HDMI (eARC), optical,
Bluetooth, or Wi-Fi.
HDMI (ARC) is supported by some models. Check the HDMI port name of the
purchased product's model.
For detailed instructions on connecting audio equipment to the TV, launch Connection
Guide.

There is no sound or the
sound is too low at
maximum volume.
Check the TV's volume setting and then the volume settings of connected external devices
(set-top box, game console, PC, etc.).
Check the cable connection status between the external device and the TV and try
reconnecting the cable.
The picture is good, but
there is no sound.

Settings Sound Sound Output
If you are using an external device, check the device’s audio output settings. For example,
the external device’s audio setting has to be set to HDMI if the device is connected using an
HDMI cable.
If you have connected a computer to the TV using an DVI to HDMI cable, you need to connect
the computer to external speakers.
If the TV has a port for headphones, make sure there are no headphones connected to the
TV.
Try disconnecting the external device, turning the TV off and then back on, and reconnecting
the external device.
With set top boxes and cable boxes, check the cable connection status and restart the
external device. Contact the concerned service provider if you encounter the same problem
again.
There is no sound.
Make sure Digital Output Audio Format is set to Pass-Through.
If you select the Pass-Through option to use an AV receiver that does not support Dolby
Digital+, no sound is output with Dolby Digital+ content.
It is recommended to set Digital Output Audio Format to Auto when the connected receiver
supports only the limited audio formats.
