How to use the PROGRAM mode ( )
Selecting the automatic mode will configure the camera
with optimal settings. You can still manually configure all
functions except the iris and shutter speed.
Steps from 1-4 are the same as those for AUTO mode.
5. Select the PROGRAM mode by rotating the mode dial.
6. Press the menu button to configure advanced functions
such as image size (p.43), quality (p.44), metering (p.45),
continuous shooting (p.45), picture effects (p.46),
sharpness(p.47) and MYSET(p.48) settings.
7. Point the camera towards the subject and compose the
image by using either the viewfinder or LCD monitor.
8. Press the shutter button to capture an image.

How to use the AS mode ( )
The Aperture and Shutter can be set manually in this mode.
Steps from 1-4 are the same as those for AUTO mode.
5. Select the AS mode by rotating the mode dial.
6. Use the ASM, Up/Down/Left/Right buttons to select
Aperture Value and Shutter speed.

7. Point the camera towards the subject and compose the
image by using either the viewfinder or LCD monitor.
8. Press the shutter button to capture an image.
