Network settings
You can set the phone to automatically or manually select a
network when you are roaming out of a service area.
Finding a network
1. From the Start menu, tap Settings → Personal tab →
Phone .
2. Tap the
Network tab, and then tap Find Network
(retrieving settings may take a few minutes).
The current network displays in the
Current network
field.
3. Tap .
Selecting a network
1. From the Start menu, tap Settings → Personal tab →
Phone .
2. Tap the
Network tab, and select either Automatic or
Manual
in the Network selection field (retrieving
settings may take a few minutes when you select
Manual ).
3. If you select
Manual , the list of available networks
displays. Continue the next steps.
Note : You can enable this function when the network
status is currently out of network service and you
want to conduct a search.
