Activating or deactivating voice call barring
1. From the
Start
menu, tap
Settings
→
Personal
tab
→
Phone
.
2. In the
Services
tab, tap
Call Barring
→
Get
Settings...
(retrieving settings may take a few
minutes).
3. Select the call type you want to restrict.
For incoming calls, you can choose to restrict your
incoming calls with the following choices:
•
All calls
: No calls can be made or received.
•
When roaming
: Calls cannot be received when you
are using your phone outside of your home service
area.
•
Off
: Call barring is deactivated; all calls can be
received normally.
For outgoing calls, you can choose to restrict your
outgoing calls with the following choices:
•
All calls
: No calls can be made or received.
•
International
: International calls cannot be made.
•
International except to home country
: When
abroad, calls can be made only to numbers within the
current country and to your home country, which is the
country where your home network provider is located.
•
Off
: Call barring is deactivated; all calls can be made
normally.
4. Enter the barring password provided by your service
provider and tap .
