and select Recording Device.

Check if the microphone is set as the default
recordingdevice.
Ifthisisthecase,itisalreadysetasthedefault
device.Ifnot,right-clickoverthemicrophoneand
select Set default.

Click Start > All Programs > Accessories > Sound
Recorder and click Start recording to start a
recording.
