Shooting Functions
The functions available for video are explained below.
Movie AE Mode
Set the aperture value for shooting a movie.
To set movie
aperture options,
In Shooting mode, press [f]
Movie AE Mode
an option.
Option Description
Program: The aperture value is adjusted automatically.
Aperture Priority: Set the aperture value manually before
recording a video. Rotate the navigation button to adjust the
aperture value.
Video functions
Fader
You can fade in or fade out a scene using the fader function on the
camera without having to do it on a PC. Use the function appropriately
and add dramatic effects on your videos.
To set fader
options,
In Shooting mode, press [f]
Fader
an option.
Option Description
Off:
Fader function not used.
In:
Scene gradually fades in.
Out:
Scene gradually fades out.
In-out:
The fader function is applied at the start and end of the
scene.
