Increase the ISO sensitivity in dark places to avoid
an underexposed photo.
Expand the ISO sensitivity
1 In Shooting mode, press [MENU].
2 Select urs or e ~ Metering.
When this function is turned on, you can select
higher ISO values up to ISO 6400.
1 In Shooting mode, press [MENU].
2 Select @1 ~ ISO Expansion.
3 Select On or Off.

The metering function measures the quantity
of available light and calculates the appropriate
exposure value.
• To reduce noise ina photo with the high
ISO sensitivity, use the Noise Reduction
menu. (p. 69)
• Available ISO options may vary by the
shooting mode.
• You can also select an ISO sensitivity
directly by pressing [ISO] in Shooting mode.
1 In Shooting mode, press [MENU].
2 Select @1 ~ ISO.
3 Select an ISO sensitivity.
