Shooting Functions
In the manual focus mode, you have to rotate the focus ring on the lens to
focus. When you use the MF Assist function, you can enlarge the scene and
easily adjust the focus while rotating the focus ring. This function is only
available on a lens that supports manual focus.
To set the manual
focus assist,
In Shooting mode, press [m] ĺ b ĺ MF Assist ĺ
an option.

Icon Description
O: Do not use the MF Assist function.
Enlarge x5*: The focus area is magnied by 5 times when you
adjust the focus.
Enlarge x8: The focus area is magnied by 8 times when you
adjust the focus.
