Retrieve Voicemail Messages
1. Press , and then tap .
2. Touch and hold to dial voicemail.
3. When connected, follow the voice prompts from
the voicemail center.
Voicemail Notification
Your phone uses sounds, alerts, and vibration to let you
know you have new voicemail.
䢇 Playing the assigned ringtone type.
䢇 Displaying within the Notifications area of the Status
bar when a single new unheard voicemail message
is received.
Call Settings
Configure settings for calling with your phone.
Set reject messages
Create and manage text messages to send to callers
when rejecting incoming calls. Messages you create
here are available from the incoming call screen when
you use the Reject with message option.
1. Press , and then tap .
2. Tap
Menu > Call settings > Set reject
messages.
3. Manage messages:
䡲 To create new messages, touch Create, then
follow the prompts.
䡲 To modify an existing message, touch the
message, then edit the text.
䡲 To delete a message, drag it to the trashcan.
Note: If you previously set up Visual Voicemail, that
application launches and directs you to visual
voicemail. For more information, see “Visual Voicemail”
on page 40.
