DAB Radio Operation
Tuning to DAB for the First Time
1. Select the DAB RADIO mode by pressing the FUNCTION button repeatedly on the
unit or pressing the FM/DAB button on the remote control until the display reads
DAB RADIO”.
2. The system will start a quick scan to search for all available channels automatically.
If no DAB service is available “NO SERVICE” will be displayed.
If there are available DAB services, the system will store all detected stations.
3. At completion of the scanning, the system will tune to a station on the list.
Tuning to a Station
1. Press the / buttons on the remote control to select the desired station from the list.
2. Press the Play/Pause button to conrm.
Re-tuning
By re-tuning, you can update your DAB station list all over again. On completion of
scanning, the system will tune to the rst station in the updated list.
Press and hold the SCAN button for at least 2 seconds, the system will start a full scan
to search for all available channels automatically.
Press the SCAN button briey, the system will start a quick scan process to search for
channels available in the UK only.
Manual Tuning
1. Press and hold the PLAY/PAUSE button for more than 2 seconds to enter the manual
tuning mode.
2. Press the / buttons on the remote control to select your desired DAB channels.
3. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to conrm and tune to your selected channel.
Programming DAB Stations
You can save up to 20 DAB stations in the system memory.
1. Press the / buttons on the remote control to select your desired DAB channels.
2. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to conrm, and tune to your selected channel.
3. Press the PROG button and then press the Previous/ Next buttons / to select a location
for storing your desired station. You can also use the Number buttons (0-9) to input a number
directly and tune to the service associated with this number. If the number is larger than 10,
press the 10+ button once and then use the Number buttons (0-9) to input the second digit.
4. Press the PROG button again to conrm. “P # SAVED”(# indicating the preset number your
selected) display.
