Tominimisepossibleriskofaccidents,theengineofyourSANLIlawnmoweris
coupledtoanoperatorcontrol.Whentheoperatorcontrolleverisreleased,
itreturns immediately to its rest position and the engine is automatically
turnedoff.
To stop the mower, move the throttle lever to its stop position
and
releasetheoperatorcontrollever.Theengineandthebladewillstop
turningautomatically.
Ifthereisabuild‐upofgrassbeneaththechassis,stoptheengine,removethe
sparkplug’scapandwaituntiltheenginehascooledbeforeclearingthegrass.
3.3 Cleaning,storage,transportation
andmaintenance
Before working on the cutting system of the machine, switch off the engine
andremovethesparkplug’scap.
3.31 Cleaningthemower
• Cut grass is damp. Regular cleaning after each use will ensure better
functioningofthemowerandreducetheriskofco rrosionorseizure.
•
Having finished mowing, allow the engine to cool then remove
accumulatedgrassclippingsfromandaroundtheenginewithabrush.
• Clean the grass collection bag annually with abrushorgentle spray of
water.
• Disconnectthesparkplug’scapandtiltthemoweronitssidewith
the
airfilterandcarburettoruppermost.
• Removeanyremainingcutgrassfromthecuttingsystemwithascraper
andabrush.
• Repositionthemowerontoitsfourwheels.
• Do not use a pressure washer or hot water to clean the mower. Be
careful to avoid soaking parts such
as the engine, air cleaner, wheel
bearings and metal fastenings. Dry off the machine before storing by
leaving it running fo r a few minutes on a flat, clear surface to prevent
corrosionorseizure.
