SETTINGS
1. From any room, scroll to the bottom of
the services list and select the
Gear
icon.
2. Select Users from the Settings screen that
opens.
3. Select a dierent User from the
list of users. The Remote will
open to the same room that the
initial user was in.
TIP! A four digit PIN code
can be added to each user.
Once set, the PIN code must be
entered each time the user logs
into a Remote. For further
details, see the Managing Users
section of the Pro App User
Guide on the Savant Customer
Community.
8. Software Updates (OTA)
The Pro Remote receives and installs available over-the-air (OTA) software updates automatically if the following criteria are met:
– The remote must be communicating with a Savant Pro System.
– It is recommended for the Remote to have at least 50% charge.
– The da Vinci runtime software on the Host has been updated and now points to a newer version of remote software available on the Savant Cloud.
– When the update process begins:
• Software will be downloaded to the remote, then installed by the remote automatically.
• When the download process to the remote begins, the Update State can be viewed using the System Status page of System Monitor. See
Appendix C: System Monitor section below for more information.
