7.3. During Operation
The cofferdam plug should be
mounted during cleaning at all
times. Would there be any leakage
at the tank cleaning machine the
cofferdam plug prevent the cleaning
media from leaking outside the
machine.
If leakage is detected seals inside
the machine have to be changed.
NOTE! That leakage at the nozzle
housing is normal and necessary
to fl ush the Tefl on bearings. Dur-
ing cold water rinsing the leakage is
considerably higher then during hot
water rinsing.
