Password protection is global i.e. once the correct password is entered access to all commands is
granted.
after each LOGOFF
after 5 minutes of inactivity
after a restart of the modem
The default user name and password are both set to 'admin'. It is recommended to change these
default values. Make sure you remember your user name and password, since this is the only way
you will be able to manage Watson SHDSL router.
3.10 Restoring the default configuration
If the password has been lost the following procedure has to be applied:
Press the reset button located at the back of the device. After approximately 5 seconds, the
LED 1 starts to blink orange, the button can be released.
The default configuration will be restored, all previous configuration will be lost.
