9.2 THE RECEIVER (Fig. 1)
The receiver is located in a suitable place on
the machine and in most cases at the boom
column.
The receiver is connected by cable to the ma-
chine control and to the external socket of the
cable control.
The two-digit display 1 shows the different
states of operation of the system. As the re-
ceiver is generally installed near the boom col-
umn of the machine, some of the status mes-
sages are also displayed on the screen of the
VECTOR control 1 (Fig. 2).
The receiver display is only provided for
function checking purposes during mainte-
nance operations. Reading the messages on
this display during the working operations
is not permitted and not necessary.
Risk of falling
It is forbidden to step on the con-
crete pump when the machine is
in operation.
If it should be necessary to step
on the machine for the purpose
of servicing the radio control sys-
tem, this is only permitted after
the pump drive has been shut
off.
For working on the pump, the
machine must be equipped with
safe access ladders and fall pro-
tection systems.
