14.5 CHECKING THE QUALITY OF THE RE-
CEIVED SIGNAL
Receiver and transmitter are equipped to indi-
cate the quality of the signal received.
Receiver
If the signal received is of optimal quality, the
display of the receiver (Fig. 1) shows the code
("H" stands for automatic frequency manage-
ment)
IMPORTANT NOTE
Short blinking of the displayed code
indicates a temporary loss of sig-
nal quality and is of no importance.
Frequent blinking of the displayed
code indicates continued disturbance
requiring corrective action (change
of position, etc.).
The quality of the received signal is
also displayed in the remote-con-
trol function screen of the VECTOR
menu.
Transmitter
Reduced quality of the received signal is indi-
cated by LED 1 (Fig. 2) flashing red. Perma-
nent flashing indicates that no signal is being
received.
The right display bar on the screen (Fig. 3) in-
dicates the strength of the signal received.
