10. SEASCAPE 27 WARRANTY TERMS and CONDITIONS
The warranty protects you against failures in the boat caused by any
manufacturing defect that may have occurred when your boat was built.
We hope there will be no need to ever use this part of the Manual. In case
a problem occurs simply contact your dealer and follow the prescribed
procedure. This will make the claim easy and clear-cut.
Boats need to be maintained and stored with proper care and attention. In
case of careless or abnormal use we ask for your understanding for not
accepting your complaint.
When your warranty claim will be recognized as justified, our dealer will
provide you best service and organize a repair of the defective part in the
shortest time. In case a repair would not be possible or reasonable, the
part will be replaced by a new one.
The Warranty Certificate is attached in the end of this chapter. Together
they form complete warranty documentation and provide all needed
information.
GENERAL WARRANTY CONDITIONS
The warranty period of two years starts from the date of delivery of your
boat – the date of confirmation of your Warranty Certificate.
Exceptions and special parts:
• The warranty is limited to one year for:
- boats being used for professional purposes, including but not limited
to charter, sailing schools or boats used for racing,
- parts that deteriorate due to wear and tear, including but not limited
to cushions, luggage and storage bags, shelves, covers, bean bags,
floor protection etc.
