Faulty measurement as a result of initial weight changing
If the child is weighed together with a different adult, it will not be pos-
sible to determine the child's weight correctly.
► Ensure that the child is always weighed with the adult with whom
the initial weight was determined.
► Ensure that the adult's weight does not change - as a result of their
taking off a piece of clothing, for example.
5. Read off the measuring result.
6. Ask the adult to get off the scale with the child.
7. You have the following options for deactivating the 2 in 1 function:
► Load the scale.
► Press the TARE key.
► Switch off the device.
6.3 Performing serial measurements with adults and children

The scale is switched on.

The scale has no load.
1. If the scale switched off automatically after the last measurement, press the
TARE key.
ð The scale is operational when 0.0 appears in the display.
2. Ask the first patient to step onto the scale and hold still.
ð The display flashes until a stable weight is measured.
ð The weight value is displayed continuously (in battery mode: for 1
minute).
3. Read off the measuring result.
4. Ask the patient to step off the scale.
ð The weight remains visible in the display until a new load is placed on the
scale (in battery mode: for 1 minute).
