Remove 3 fastening bolts

on the spark arrestor

Remove the muffler spark arrestor
.
3.
Use a non-synthetic brush to clean the arrestor screen. A
synthetic brush may melt if components are warm. If
necessary, blow debris from the screen with compressed air.
4.
Inspect the spark arrestor screen for wear and damage.
Replace worn or damaged screen.
5.
Reinstall the spark arrestor and fasten the screws
.
